Huntington Town Democratic Committee Photo Album

Last October, approximately 30 members of the Democratic Committee attended a luncheon in New York City hosted by the Eleanor Roosevelt Legacy Commettee. The ERLC raises money at this one function and then uses it to support Democratic women candidates in the State of New York. Our women candidates have always received contributions from the ERLC so we make a point to support their fine work. While there, Sherry Pavone, Mary Collins, and three members of the Town Board attended a VIP reception where we were able to meet and chat with the Guest of Honor, Hillary Rodham Clinton. The pictures you see below were taken at that time. Sherry, Mary, Glenda Jackson, Stuart Besen and Susan Berland were delighted for the time were were able to spend with our juniour Senator. Afterward, at the Luncheon itself, the many Democratic women candidates in the audience were asked to come to the dias and be recognized. This was when our candidate for the 5th Senate District, Leslie Bielanski, had her picture taken with Ms. Clinton and another candidate, Grace Kelly McGuinnes, who was running for Town Board in Smithtown. The ERLC Luncheon is a wonderfully energizing experience and we all look forward to it each year.
